Dr. Stephen A. Conicello, DC, EMT-P
Dr. Stephen A. Conicello, DC, EMT-P possesses a breadth of knowledge, education, training and expertise, all of which allows him to uncover and address patient’s underlying health issues like few other doctors in the field. Dr. Conicello graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital Paramedic Institute in 1997, Pre Medicine at Life University in Atlanta, GA, and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC in 2004.
He has extensive post-graduate education in Functional Internal Medicine, Clinical and Functional Neurology, Post Concussive (CTE) Therapy, Neurofeedback Therapy, Child Developmental Disorders (Spectrum Disorders), MyoNeural Therapeutic Medicine (Trigenics), Clinical and Functional Nutrition and Quantum Neurology. This additional training was done from 2000 through the present day, as he is always studying and continuing to build his knowledge in order to help more people with their health challenges.
Dr. Conicello practiced in the suburbs of Greenville, SC when he first graduated from Chiropractic school in 2004. In 2009, the Italian Medical Society asked him to participate in a groundbreaking research project with the top medical physicians in Italy involving Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease in Rome, Italy. The research found astounding positive results, with up to 97% relief in symptomatology in both diseases. After the research was completed, Dr. Conicello returned to his home state of Pennsylvania and opened Upper Cervical Chiropractic Neurology Center in Downingtown, PA. In 2014, Agape Institute of Functional Healthcare was created as he completed his training in the field of Functional Internal Healthcare. His programs as Agape Institute help to uncover the underlying cause of his patient’s health issues.
In Dr. Conicello’s time off from work, he enjoys working out, kayaking, grilling, playing with his many nieces & nephews, and hanging out watching movies with his wife Michelle.
Michelle Conicello, Naturopath & Thermographer
Michelle Conicello is a Chester County, PA native, and attended Great Valley High School and the University of Delaware with a Bachelors in International Relations with a minor in Photography (BA).
Since opening Agape Institute with her husband, Dr. Stephen Conicello, in 2012, she has also earned these certifications:
- Certified Clinical Thermographer (CCT),
- Certified Natural Health Practitioner (CNHP)
- Certified Holistic Health Professional (CHHP).
As Naturopath, Michelle works with the patients to help detoxify their bodies and offers modalities such as Bach Flower Remedies, Iridology and Reams Testing (RBTI). She is passionate about helping others and seeing patients flourish by teaching them the Foundations of Health.
Phylicia, Office Manager
Phylicia joined the team at Agape Institute in the beginning of 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry Pre-Med in 2014 from Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia. Phylicia is the Office Manager at Agape Institute. She also assists with the brain mapping on the ClearMind Neurofeedback system and with the Functional Vision testing on the RightEye system.
Phylicia is eager to help others towards improving their lifestyle and their own personal goals and embraces the mission of Agape Institute.
In her free time, Phylicia enjoys weight training, driving and working on cars with her husband, and watching movies.
Amanda, Wellness Coordinator
Jody, Front Desk Coordinator
Jody has been part of the Agape Institute Team since October 2017 as the Front Desk Coordinator. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Chester University, and graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program in September 2018. Currently she is studying to become a personal trainer.
Jody is excited about helping others improve their health and in seeing their transformation. In her free time Jody enjoys spending time with her husband and her pets, reading, hiking and other outdoor activities.
Eleanor, Front Desk & Therapy Assistant
Eleanor became a member of the Agape team in July 2020. She moved here from England in 1995 with her husband, children and four cats!
Eleanor is delighted to be part of a team that helps people achieve their health and life goals through functional medicine.
Her spare time is spent as much as possible with her granddaughters and family. She enjoys hikes with their dog and spending time gardening.
Cat, Front Desk & Therapy Assistant
Cat attended college in Oneonta, New York, majoring in Music Industry. During her senior year, she interned at Heritage at The Plains at Parish Homestead, an assisted living center. She then went on to Nashville, Tennessee where she interned at Black Bird Recording Studios.
Upon returning home to Pennsylvania, she began to work with us at Agape. Here, she hopes to help heal others and further her educational journey with new training and certifications. She is currently working on her SculpSure training with Michelle.
Outside of work, she enjoys just about any outdoor activities with family and friends, especially involving any type of water. She also has a passion for cooking, traveling, and exercising her vocal cords.
